Chicken Soup TeamNancy Legato, MS, L.Ac. Nancy has been with Chicken Soup Chinese Medicine in one capacity or another since 2003. Over the 5 years that she has been at Chicken Soup, she has mentored with and worked alongside Misha Cohen. In her practice at Chicken Soup, she supports patients living with HCV, HIV, cancer, and other highly complex medical challenges. She also specializes in working with people with depression, post traumatic stress disorder and other emotional and spiritual challenges. Nancy graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007. While there, she had the great fortune to syncretize treatment methodologies as diverse as those of Dr. Aide Men, an adept herbal practitioner whose clinical abilities are matched by her scholarly knowledge of the Chinese classics, and Mark Frost, a dedicated acupuncturist andherbalist from a more integrated health paradigm, who utilizes eight extraordinary meridian protocols to support the emotional well-being and growth of his patients. Nancy is also certified in both Tui Na and Shiatsu (Chinese and Japanese, respectively, forms of massage.) Nancy Legato and Misha Cohen work together as a consultation and treatment team to provide the best of all worlds to those who seek our care. Elisa Angelone, MAOM, L.Ac. Elisa has come from two generation of healers, learning at a very young age from both her father and grandmother the power and beauty of traditional Chinese medicine. She grew up in Toronto, Canada, where she completed her master's degree in Oriental medicine at the Institute of Traditional Medicine after having received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Montreal where she majored in Sculptor and Environmental Studies. Elisa worked with Dr. Lifang Liang where she gained much experience in the management of women's health including pregnancy, conception, and acupuncture in conjunction with IVF, postpartum care, and postmenopausal symptoms. In addition she has had the fortune of working in public health through her work with the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic, the Immune Enhancement Project and Quan Yin Healing Arts Center. Elisa has been inspired by the work and accomplishments of Misha Cohen since first beginning her love affair with Chinese medicine in the later1990's. She is thrilled to continue her training and practice in Asian medicine through her work as a mentored practitioner at Chicken Soup Chinese Medicine. Misha Ruth Cohen Visit About Misha Ruth Cohen
